My Copywriting Process
Stress free from start to finish!
Every copywriting project is of course different, but as a freelance copywriter, I always try to follow a similar process from start to finish and this ensures satisfaction across all of my clients and projects.
Our first discussion- this is once you have called or emailed me. Its the stage for me to listen and understand what you are looking for and when you need it by. We will cover things such as; what copywriting piece do you need; who is it for; when do you need it by; approx word count and who is your audience.
My Project proposal - I will send you what I understand to be your requirements following our inital chat, with an indication of budget and time constraints for us to agree to.
Commencement invoice - If you are happy with the project proposal, I just need you to sign the commencement invoice (50%) of the total and then we can begin.
Book in a briefing - We shall book in a time to go over your briefing in more detail. In advance of this I will send you some more in-depth questions including more background on your business; your target audience; project needs we may not have touched on and your brand personality.
Writing time - Once we have had our briefing chat and I have all the information from you, the fun part can happen!
First draft and edits - First draft will be with you on the agreed date and two rounds of edits will be included in your fee.
The end - where we will both be happy and the copy is all yours!
